Dust seems to find its way to many places in our homes. It has a higher degree of collection near windows. Window blinds, you are no stranger to this large amount of dust. Most kids can take a microfiber dusting rag dampened with a little Windex or dusting spray and wipe down the blinds while using a step stool. The easiest way to do this dusting is to turn the blinds all the way closed in one direction—work from top to bottom. Spray the rag with a little product and wipe each slat until that entire side is clean. Then turn the blinds closed all the way in the other direction and repeat the process until they have completed the dusting on that side of the blinds. It is a little bit of a cumbersome task and does require patience and fortitude. But they can do it and feel very accomplished when they complete the task.

This is a really good task to plan to do one blind per week or monthly for each blind. It will help in keeping blinds clean and also cut down on the frequency of washing curtains.
