Your child may be taking on extra responsibilities working and serving others. This is the time when only a few new tasks are being introduced so older tasks can be practiced as the family need arises.
This is not a time to let up but to hone skills. Remember, they are not only learning to be a responsible contributor to your family but also learning how to manage their own homes.
Start this on the weekend. This can be super helpful. Just make sure you communicate and plan the time it will take to do it.
