The learning curve for academics exponentially increases during this stage of life. There are also a lot of new tasks for them to learn. Keep in mind that they will need some time to play outside. However, do not hesitate to add an extra task here and there if they seem “bored.”
You will notice the pace of learning a new task is a bit faster, and some tasks are even combined. Most children cycle through mental and physical growth spurts. Sometimes when they are mentally growing, they can handle new tasks without a problem. They tend to sleep more and tire more quickly during physical growth. You may want to consider not adding new things during this season. (Be consistent with what they are already doing.) Be aware of what your child can handle. You are their parent for a reason!
Essentially, they have been doing this for a while. Assign them to do it by themselves. Still, ask and remind.
