Can you believe it? In just a few years, that young adult will be headed off to change the world for the better! And you have equipped them for one of the most crucial parts of adulting- keeping their home running smoothly.
There are only a few tasks left. They are beneficial to you and great practice for them. It is ok to indulge just a little bit. But, again, be respectful of their time. There will be days that they will be exhausted from life. Give them space, but again, do hold them accountable. Becoming an adult is about taking responsibility and facing the consequences of your actions.
AKA: The legitimate excuse to drive somewhere. Take advantage now, the desire is fleeting.
